Muskoka Dock Services is operated by Ontario Lead Networks Inc. ("OLN", "we," "us," or "our") and runs at muskokadockservices.ca (the "Site"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws in Canada.

This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Who We Are

Muskoka Dock Services is a referral matching service that connects property owners in Ontario with independent dock installation and service contractors. We are not a licensed contractor. We operate as an online referral platform on behalf of Ontario Lead Networks Inc.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in two ways:

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you submit a quote request through our contact form, we collect:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional — if provided)
• Service location / community
• Service type requested
• Any additional details you choose to provide in the message field

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

If you consent to analytics cookies, we collect:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• General geographic region (derived from IP address — not precise location)
• Referring website or search query

This information is collected through Google Analytics 4 and is only activated after you provide explicit consent via the cookie consent banner. If you decline cookies, no analytics data is collected.

We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioural profiling, or any purpose other than aggregate traffic analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information you provide to:

• Respond to your service inquiry
• Match your request with an appropriate local contractor in our network
• Forward your contact details to a third-party contractor for the purpose of providing you a quote (with your consent, as indicated in the contact form)
• Communicate with you about your request
• Improve the quality and relevance of our referral service

We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing, nor do we sell your data to any party.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share your personal information only as follows:

• With independent contractors: When you submit a quote request, your name, contact information, service location, and service details are shared with one or more local independent contractors for the purpose of providing you a quote. By submitting the contact form and checking the consent checkbox, you consent to this sharing.
• With service providers: We use Formspree (formspree.io) to process form submissions. Formspree stores submitted form data on servers in the United States. Their privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
• With analytics providers: If you consent to cookies, anonymized usage data is shared with Google Analytics. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
• As required by law: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

How we make money. Muskoka Dock Services is operated by Ontario Lead Networks Inc. ("OLN"), a paid lead-referral business. When you submit a project request, your contact details are shared with one matched local dock contractor, and that contractor pays OLN a referral fee for the introduction. You are not charged for this service. We do not share your information with anyone else for marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to data brokers or unrelated third parties. 5. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information
• Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw consent to our use of your personal information at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
• Complaint: File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your privacy rights have been violated (priv.gc.ca)

To exercise any of these rights, email Ontario Lead Networks' Privacy Officer (the operator of this site) at privacy@ontarioleadnetworks.ca. We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and complete them within 30 days, as required by PIPEDA.

6. Data Retention

The operator of this site, Ontario Lead Networks (OLN), follows PIPEDA Principle 5: we keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, except where Canadian law requires longer retention.

Your personally identifying information (name, email, phone, project notes) is redacted no later than 90 days after we pass your lead to the matched contractor. As a safety net, the absolute maximum we keep that information is 6 months from the date you submitted your request, even if the lead is never matched.

Financial transaction records (lead ID, dates, fee amount, contractor ID — no personally identifying fields) are retained for six years from the end of the relevant tax year, as required of every Canadian business by the Canada Revenue Agency under the Income Tax Act. After that period they are also purged.

Redaction runs automatically on a daily scheduled job and every redaction is recorded in a tamper-evident audit log. 7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss. Our website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are processed through Formspree's encrypted infrastructure.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies

We use one category of cookies:

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — optional: Used to understand aggregate website traffic and usage patterns. Only loaded after you provide explicit consent via the cookie banner. You may decline these cookies at any time.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any cookies that identify you personally.

To withdraw cookie consent, reload the page and decline via the consent banner, or clear your browser cookies.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Site does not contain links to third-party websites other than those explicitly cited (Google, Formspree). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any external websites.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Site is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
